Spicy Players is a Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre Troupe founded in 2007 by Nathan L Henderson, and Co-founder Rhea Anne Mathews along with the support of a few fellow actors who believed in the vision and just wanted to play!
The Spicy Players' got its name from its original venue and current caterer Southern Spice Cafe in St. Robert, MO. Encouraged by Southern Spice Cafe's owners Tim and Miki Collier, to persue his passion, and bring more of the Arts to their community, Nathan reached out to theatre Mentor and Great friend Rhea Anne, and put in motion, the fantastic Troupe we have all grown to love. The Spicy players consistantly deliver fun filled, entertaining, and professional shows in an interactive environment, which keep the suspense flowing and the patrons returning! We strive to be not only a source of entertainment but also a learning environment, where our actors can become the BEST they can at their craft, and our audience can learn that the key to a merry heart is laughter.
